BIPA-SECURITY PURPOSES

This bill amends the Biometric Information Privacy Act to redefine "biometric identifier" and add definitions for biometric locks, biometric time clocks, and security purposes, waiving certain collection requirements in security-related contexts. It also sets a written-notice-and-cure process before an aggrieved person may sue, and exempts entities with certain collective bargaining agreements.
