Use of artificial intelligence-based tools; covered artificial intelligence, disclosure of use.

Requires Virginia law enforcement to disclose in police reports when covered AI was used in a criminal investigation, and to provide that disclosure to prosecutors and the individual under investigation. Mandates that AI-generated draft reports and their audit trails be retained as long as the final report, identifying who used AI, what changes were made, and what footage was used. Allows the Attorney General and affected residents to bring civil actions to enforce these requirements.
