Creates the Artificial Intelligence Chatbots and Minors Act in Virginia, prohibiting deployers of chatbots with human-like features from making those features available to minors and requiring age verification systems to enforce the prohibition. Deployers of AI social companion chatbots must also ensure those are not accessible to minors. Violations constitute prohibited practices under the Virginia Consumer Protection Act.
