Video Surveillance

Enacts the South Carolina Community Data Protection and Responsible Surveillance Act, barring state or local entities from using surveillance systems that store data on third-party servers or from using artificial intelligence or automated systems to track vehicles under certain circumstances. Sets requirements for data retention, judicial oversight, annual reporting, and penalties.
