AUTOMATED DECISION TOOLS

This bill creates the Preventing Algorithmic Discrimination Act, requiring deployers of automated decision tools to conduct annual impact assessments, notify individuals when such a tool is used to make a consequential decision about them, and maintain a governance program to manage discrimination risks. Impact assessments must be submitted to the Attorney General within 60 days of completion.
